Governor's Biography
Bill has' lived in Point
Pleasant, NJ all his life. He graduated from St. Rose High School in
Belmar, NJ. Upon graduation from high school, Bill joined the U.S. Army
which he served for seven years 5 years in Europe and the final 2 years
in Washington, D.C.
Bill owned a heating sales and service business for 20
years. He then was a manager of Suburban Gas Company in Howell, NJ where
he retired in 1994.
Bill has been active in sports, having coached and
man-aged many Little League and Babe Ruth teams.
He also was a member of the New Jersey Gas Association
and the Oil Heat Institute. He has served as a State Volunteer in Parole
and served as a member of the Point Pleasant Recreation Commission.
Bill entered Rotary by joining the Point Pleasant Boro.
Rotary Club in 1980. He served on the District 7510 Youth Exchange,
College of Presidents, Steering and Rotary Information Committees. He
was a Governor Area Representative. In District 7500 he has served as
Community Service Director, Rotary Information Chairman, and in 1994
became District 7500's first District Governor.
His partner is Mary and they have one son, Lee,
daughter-in-law, Kim and a granddaughter, Kellie.
