John is the CFO of Camden
International Commodities Terminal LLC (CICT), Camden, N.J. and Lyons &
Sons Inc. Moorestown, N.J. Both companies warehouse and process cocoa
and they own and operate a restaurant, 20 Horse Tavern, Camden, N.J.
Prior to his current employment,
John owned his own accounting practice THE COUNTING HOUSE in Burlington,
N.J. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1972, is past
president of the Mercer Chapter of the N.J. Society of Certified Public
Accountants, and has served on the board of trustees for the N.J. State
Society of Certified Public Accountants.
John has been very active in
Rotary since he joined in 1987. He has served in many capacities
culminating in being president of the Burlington Rotary Club. He was
District Youth Exchange Chairperson for District 7500 for nine years.
He has also served as the treasurer of the Orchid Foundation which
supports an orphanage in the Dominican Republic.
John is currently a member of the
Beverly Rotary Club. He was made a Paul Harris Fellow in 1997. John
and his wife Sue, who is also a Paul Harris Fellow, are members of the
Rotary Foundation Bequest Society. John is also a Paul Harris Society
member.
John and his wife Sue have been
married for 35 years and reside in Edgewater Park, N.J. They have three
married daughters and two grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, spending
time with their family and enjoying leisure time on their houseboat on
Long Beach Island, N.J. John particularly enjoys science fiction,
movies, theatre and electronic gadgets. |
